Teaching

Dr. Fraley has been teaching students for sixteen years, everything from snare drum and drumset to world music classes and chamber music. He has been a graduate assistant at the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and the College of Music at Florida State University. Fraley has also been a faculty and staff member of the College-Conservatory of Music's Preparatory Department at the University of Cincinnati, The Hartt School Community Division at the University of Hartford, and Cincinnati Christian University. Dr. Fraley is currently an adjunct instructor of Percussion at Troy University in Troy, AL and percussion and jazz faculty at the New England Music Camp at the Snow Pond Center for the Arts in Maine.

Dr. Fraley has given master classes at colleges and high schools in the United States and Portugal. Master class topics have ranged from world music, large ensemble playing, and chamber music, to frame drums and John Cage.

Dr. Fraley is an Pearl/Adams, Innovative Percussion, Inc., Grover Pro Percussion, and Remo Inc. educational artist.
